Restoring sanitation dignity of single mothers in slums
Every woman deserves dignity — even in the slums. In Kampala’s crowded settlements, hundreds of single mothers struggle without a safe or private place to relieve themselves. Many risk disease, harassment, and shame every single day because they have no proper toilet facilities. Purpose Health Care Africa is taking a stand to restore dignity, health, and safety by constructing clean, gender-sensitive latrines for single mothers and their children. We target to construct atleast 50 latrines in the next 3 years.
You can be the reason a mother smile again. Your donation will help build a safe toilet, prevent disease, and give a woman and her children the privacy and respect they deserve. Together, we can turn unsafe corners into places of hope and hygiene — one latrine, one family, one community at a time.
Join us today and help create a cleaner, safer, and more dignified Kampala.
